Shiner St. Paul scored just 38 points to secure their fourth state championship in a row.  Emma Morgan led the Cardinals who have been the team to beat in 2A competition. Fort Worth Bethesda took the boys team title and were led by 1st place finisher Spencer Doyle.  They should remain a force to be reckoned with in the coming years due to the fact that their 2nd-6th place team finishers are all only freshman.

Midland Classical Academy won the girls 3A state championship with a three point victory over Central Texas Christian.  The Knights were led by the freshman duo of Kaleigh Boyt and Lily Marshall.

The Colleyville Covenant boys scored just 39 points and took the team title behind a first place finish from senior Caleb Jones.

The Woodlands Christian girls placed four in the top ten to edge out TAPPS 4A Individual State Champion Katie Miller and the Austin Concordia girls.  The Woodlands Christian Warriors were led by junior Olivia Gregory who finished second overall.

The St. John Paul II Guardians out of New Braunfels captured their second state title in four years with a 21 point victory over the defending champion McKinney Mustangs. The Guardians were led by juniors Fabius Bascon and Tristan Ornelas who finished 2nd and 3rd to give St. John Paul II the victory.

Austin St. Michaels pulled off the sweep in 5A competition as they took the boys and girls state championship .  The boys were led by freshman Jackson Long and placed four in the top ten to take the team title.  The girls' dominance was also on display as Kinga Parrish took 5th overall and all five scorers placed in the top 12.   Luke Estes of San Antonio Christian ran a meet best time of 16:03.60.

6A

In 6A action, Dallas Ursuline continued their unparalleled run of dominance capturing their fourth state title in five years. The Running bears victory was a "true repeat" as they returned all seven runners from last year's state championship team. Caroline Miller led Ursuline with a second place finish.

The boys race featured two familiar foes as the El Paso Cathedral Fighting Irish and the Antonian Apaches battled for the state championship for the fourth straight year.  Despite the Apaches initially being announced as the TAPPS 6A State Champions, TAPPS officials called Antonian on the bus ride home to inform them that there was a miscalculation in team point totals.  Due to this error, TAPPS officials have declared Antonian and El Paso Cathedral co-champions.  The Apaches were led by 8th place finisher Allen Diaz while The Fighting Irish were led by individual state champion Brandon Seagraves.
