See How Texans Performed At Brooks PR

We all know, Texas is the sprint headquarters in the U.S. That leads us to 100m and 100H. In the girls 100m, we saw SYDNEY WASHINGTON and KAILEI COLLINS represent for the great state of Texas. Washington took third and Collins took sixth. In what was not a fast race time wise, the Texas girls still displayed the Texas talent to the rest of the very talented field.

In the 100H, G'auna Edwards and Javlyn Cameron took the Texas hurdle depth to Brooks PR to show their stuff. Both Edwards and Cameron are all-state hurdlers and showed why they belonged in the field. Edwards came away with a fourth place finish and Cameron in seventh.

On the boys side, Jeffery Hulon Jr. knew he already had a chance to take away the Brooks PR win in the 100m. In what was nearly a photo finish, Hulon Jr. took third at New Balance Nationals Indoors against the top national sprinters, so he was no sleeper. Hulon took second at the UIL 6A state meet and first at the TTFCA Meet of Champions. Now, he can add the third place at Brooks PR to the list of his accomplishments.
