See Jasmine Moore's Long Jump Footage From AAU Junior Olympic Games

It's been a long season for JASMINE MOORE. By now, everyone knows who she is, if not, you have been living under a rock! Moore is competing this week at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Moore who attends and competes for Mansfield Lake Ridge High School and the North Texas Cheetahs Track Club will compete for Motor City TC.

Today, Moore competed in the long jump, an event she hasn't competed or prepared much for since the UIL state meet. Not to take the drama out of things, but she won (mean, what else did you expect). She jumped a 19-2 for the winning jump.

Moore who recently returned from a trip to Trujilo, Peru where she competed in the triple jump for Team USA at the Pan American Championships. The silver medalist returned with an opportunity to compete in a national meet where she was born and where her parents grew up. Moore could not turn down the opportunity to enable her family members see her compete and she decided to do it in a Motor City TC uniform. Both parents competed for Motor City TC when they were youths.

See Moore's interview and her thoughts on competing back at home....I mean where she was born. It's like she is both of ours, but we'll just keep her at our house (Texas)!

Later this week, watch Jasmine Moore compete for the triple jump record Live on FloTrack!
