Elizabeth Reneau
Argyle Liberty Christian senior Elizabeth Reneau is an outstanding runner and her 2017 anything just short of amazing. To start, Reneau signed to run in college for ACC power house Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
Her outstanding high school career led to her path to Duke. At the TAPPS state track and field meet, Reneau won three events. She won the 800m with a 2:15.52, the 1600m in 5:00.29, and the 3200m in 10:43.16 all at the same meet.
And if that wasn't enough, Reneau's career came to a catapult this past October,. Reneau won her fourth consecutive TAPPS state cross country title. She has won ever year dating back to her freshman year.
A four year state champion is hard to find and Reneau has enough state met medals to pass around.
