Kynnedy Flannel

Alvin senior Kynnedy Flannel signed to continue her career at the University of Texas. The Longhorns will have to wait as she has one more year to wreck havoc on the UIL.

Last May, Flannel set a UIL 6A state meet record in the long jump when she jumped 21-2.75. Flannel had seven jumps over 20-5 on the season.

Flannel wasn't done with her long jump win. She then headed over to the line to run the 100m. She ran a 11.43 to win her second state title of the 2017 state meet. To conclude her night, she then won her third gold medal of the UIL state meet with a win in the 200m in 23.34.
