Kowalski is one the College Park's talented youngsters aka "youngstars". TWCP head coach Gibson was an outstanding athlete in his days and is an excellent coach, but it doesn't hurt to be lucky every now and then too. He definitely has a luck streak going on with the young talent he has been getting and he has guided them along very well too.
Sophomore to be Kowalski checks in at #35 for our preseason poll dud to her outstanding freshman season. She helped lead the Cavaliers back to the UIL state meet and to a 9th place over all finish in the 6A race with her 18:19.80 PR for a 19th place finish.
The track season saw more potential from Kowalski, which makes her possibly even more dangerous this upcoming cross season. She dropped a 2:24.37 -800m, 5:02.28 - 1600m, and a couple of sub 11s and a 10:56.02 PR 3200m.
