Dowd checks in as the first non UIL runners to hit the All-State teams thanks in part to his outstanding 2018 track season. He ran 1:59.66, 4:22.27, and 9:23.64 on the track last season, the latter two ended up in second place finishes at the SPC Championship.
However, he also had a pretty good cross country season last year as well with 15:41.16 PR and also a second place finish at the SPC cross country state championships.
