Heidi Nielson is one of the super sophomores in Texas and in the country. However, she has had a pretty quiet season so far....so far.
She won the Friday Night Lights race, but that was way back in August. Since then, she has been in chill mode. However, with championship season here, expect her to really crank it up and begin her rise back to the top of things.
Last year, she just missed out on qualifying for NXN, but did get one of the spots for Foot Locker Nationals. Take her freshman year as a learning experience and expect to see a lot of Nielson on the back end of this 2018 season.
