4A girls
This was an absolute battle to the end. Dallas Carter has won two consecutive 4x100 relay state title, but that was with Sha'Carri Richardson on it. Carter has been counted out all season long, but they have quieted the doubters with this year's 46.57 win. Liberty Eylau was close for second in 46.56 and Kennedale in third with a 46.94.
4A Boys
The boys from Waco La Vega won a football state championship in the Fall and they now captured their second state title of the year on the track. They did so with an exciting 41.10 run, but they got a strong challenge from Stafford whose outstanding anchor leg who furiously closed for a 42.21 followed by Liberty Eylau in 41.25.
