Lago Vista has been and still is the real deal. They have running strong for the last several years and this year has been more of it. They could drop a crushing performance and head into the state meet with a bunch of confidence. Yoakum will also drop a huge team run worthy of admiring. San Antonio Cole seems to always earn a spot, so that just leaves one more and there will potentially be three teams in the hunt for it.

Ellie Albrecht will be sniffing around the lead if.....she isn't leading it outright. She wants a state championship and she will be running for a state championship. She finished third at the state meet last year and won silver medals in the the 1600m and 3200m and now needs a first place and a gold.
3A Boys
Luling will have to work hard to win this year's regional title. Lytle has a good squad and will give them a good fight. In the end, we should see they guys in green at the top of the regional awards stand again.

It seems like Edwin Zamudio has been around forever. Well, he is finally a senior and he has the most high level experience out of anyone in this race. He'll win the race again, the kid is a stud.
