4A Girls
Liberty Hill is having a fabulous season. They were the recipients of a fabulous transfer in Ayanna Donwerth from Leander and she has fit in with the team and they have been rolling. Pair her with a fabulous freshman Zaila Smith and Liberty Hill is powerful.
Strong teams in the region along with Liberty Hill is Pleasanton and Gonzales, but the fourth qualifying spot will be tough to decide.
Girls Team Predictions:

4. Geronimo Navarro
The aforementioned Donwerth and Smith should definitely be front runners, but the ever so dangerous Jaci McGregor is also one of the best 4A runners as we saw during the track championship season.
4A Boys
Progresso wants to make it back to the state meet and they will make it back to the state meet. They will win the Region 4-4A race easily, as they are just too good not to. After a big performance from Progreso things will get a little murky team wise. There will be four boys teams who will possibly be within single digits of each other for the last three qualifying spots.
Boys Team Predictions:
1. Progreso
2. Fredericksburg
3. La Vernia
4. Liberty Hill
For the individual winner, I'm going to roll with wither Griffin Neal or Jonathan Vega. There are a lot of guys with PR times from district races and could enter the meet on a roll, but we know Neal and Vega are legit and can run. They are the top returners from last season's regional reace. Andrew Kendrick will also be in the mix and in the lead pack.
