Judson Greer dropped his second sub 15:00 race of the season in as many attempts. The Melissa senior put the pedal to the metal in the second half of the race to drop a 14:51.9 on the hilly 5K course.

Greer was flanked by Foster Wilfong and Martin Chavez early in the race, but he turned things up and battled the tough terrain of Myers Park. Grapevine junior Walker St. John also put together an impressive second half of the race by pushing himself into the runner-up spot and a legit 15:09.

The team front is where the anticipated battle was. St. John and fellow Mustang, Trey Leathers (15:41) helped push their squad to a nine point victory over Boerne Champion. Wilfong led the Chargers to the runner-up finish just ahead of Trevor Malik's Lovejoy squad.

Check out the race and see how some of the top teams and runners in 4A, 5A, and 6A fared today at Lovejoy XC Fall Festival.
