4A Boys 4X100 Relay Recap: Waco La Vega Goes 40.71!

Waco La Vega (6) ran 40.71 for the 4A boys 4x100 relay win

In 2019, it was Waco La Vega taking the 4x100 relay win and they were on the way to the team title from there. Today, it was Waco La Vega picking up where they left off two years ago. They took out and shot to the front of the pack as soon as the gun went off like never missing a beat from 2019. From the first to the second exchange Waco La Vega showed us they didn't come to play games today.

The race was never in doubt, but La Grange was determined to make the race interesting. Their third leg was on La Vega's the  heels at the end of  the third exchange Their anchor leg was also on the chase. However, Waco La Vega was just too fast as they followed through on what their scratch leg started as they powered home for the win and a big time mark of 40.71. La Grange also dipped under 41.0 with their 40.94 for second and Liberty Eylau 41.49.
