The 2A Girls 3200m came down to the final lap as top three finishers were within reach of each other. Dylaney Weaver from Gruver was able to make a push and claim the win with a time of 11:31.61 Friday morning.
The race featured four underclassmen, including sophomore Autumn Smith who finished in third with a time of 11:38.78. Smith was just eight hundredths of a second to Taylor Limbaugh of Schulenburg. The three medalists will be competing in the 2A mile taking place Friday evening.
