In a highly stacked triple jump class, the 6A boys featured five athletes who recorded a jump of over 47-0.00. Jaden Patterson from Atascocita captured the victory after he recorded a jump of 50-7.00 on his second attempt. Patterson scratched on his remaining jumps but was able to keep his position.
Donald Lee from Klein Collins came in 2nd after a mark of 49-3.25 on his first attempt. Charles Demmings from Mesquite Horn managed to get a spot on the podium after he jumped 48-4.50 on his fifth attempt.
