Franklin's Alyssa Laspada ran 18:51 for a 110 speed rating with her win at the Canutillo Inv.

El Paso Franklin swept the team titles at the Canutillo Invitational last Saturday, and Senior Alyssa Laspada won the girls race impressively. The Franklin girls will again be a force in UIL 6A. Jared Laverty (Sr.) El Paso Americas was just faster than Luis Pastor (Jr.) El Paso Coronado; Pastor showed marked improvement compared with speed ratings in 2020.
