Cushing senior Jose Garcia won the 2021 Region 3-2A Championships


Poolville beat Hamilton by only two points out of Region II; they come into the state meet as co-favorites. Hamilton is stronger at the back of their varsity; Poolville will need all five scorers to run well to maintain their current No. 1 standing.

Region 4 champions Port Aransas has been a fixture at the top of 2A for years. The seasonal data suggest that they will perform much better at state than their regional merge shows, but it seems they may be hard-pressed to reach the podium, much less defend their title.

Regions I and III champions Plains and Tenaha should be in the mix for a top-three finish, as well.
