Yes, it's that Karson Godon; you know the football star. . . . one of the top 2024 quarterback prospects in the state of Texas.
Well, he is also one of the top jumpers in the state as well. Last year, he jumped a 48-2.5 PR as a freshman where he eventually finished fifth overall at the UIL 6A state meet.
Gordon finished the year with two national championships on the club circuit as he won the USATF triple jump (49-9.75) and the AAU title (49-3.25). He is back at it this indoor season with a 47-6.25 to finish second at the 2022 Carl Lewis Invitational and 49-0.25 to win the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic.
