Austin St. Andrews Episcopal senior William Dunaway is one of the top returning runners in the state of Texas, but he is also one of SPC's top returners from the 2021 cross country season. Finishing fourth overall last year at SPC was a highlight, but he ran a 16:01.70 PR last year as well on the track with 4:24.06 and 9:26.15 PRs.
Dunaway along with teammate Jake Gooch will lead St. Andrews, but also press for the top individual crown. James Boutte Jr. of Houston Christian also finished in the top-10 at SPC and had a great track season. Expect to see him challenge for the ctrown.
Joining the title season and looking to defend their team title are a couple of Dallas St. Marks harriers. Raja Mehendale, Clark Cooper, and Asa McCaleb will make a trio who should be a familiar sight in the front of races across the state.
