Isabel Conde De Frankenberg runs with the chase pack
The Team Nationals had a big time Texas crop of qualifiers. With four automatic girls individual qualifiers, two automatic teams and an at-large qualifier teamed up with five boys individuals and two teams, there were plenty of opportunity for high places.
Cedar Park junior Isabel Conde De Frankenberg asserted herself in the early goings of the race as she quickly nestled herself in the top four positions. Frankenberg maintained her position throughout the majority of the race as she never fell out of the top-10 and staying in the top chase pack.
Frankenberg ran split of 5:16 and 5:48 and she clocked a 3:23 last 1K to finish in 17:17.5 and a sixth place finish.
Also finishing in the top 15 and netting All-American honors were Flower Mound juniors Samantha Humphries and Nicole Humphries. Samantha finished 11th with a time of 17:27.90 and Nicole was 13th in 17:31.60.
The humphries running along with sophomore Alexandra Fox who was 32nd overall with a 17:55.50 helped pull the Lady Jaguars into a sixth place team finish. The UIL 6A state champions were granted an at-large qualification bid after finishing third place at the regional. They made the most of it finishing in sixth and the top Texas team by scoring 199 points.

Southlake Carroll finished 11th with 289 points and Lovejoy was 14th scoring 372 points.

Jude Alvarez (Carroll) was Texas' top finisher in the boys championship race. He ran splits of 4:45 and 10:06 followed by a 3:27 final 1K to attain his finish.
The UIL 5A runner-up Adam Burlison (Grapevine) and Ayden Granados (McAllen Memorial) soon finished in 56th an 59th places, respectively.

The Texas boys teams saw the two automatic qualifiers finish 18th and 19th overall. Grapevine, the UIL 5A state champs were second at the regionals and put together a 16:25 team average with a 57 second split. Carroll was right behind them with a 16:27 team average and a 52 team split.
