In 2021, Townsen Thomas (Houston Episcopal) finished second in the 100h at the SPC State Championships.
She completed her freshman campaign with a 5th-place finish in the 300h.
At the Texas Southern University meet last season, she stumbled over a hurdle and damaged her knee. The SPC's top returning 100-meter hurdler by time has already had two surgeries, and she'll miss this season - both track & field and softball.
On pace for a strong recovery, the Houston Episcopal dual-sport star is preparing for the 2024 indoor season and a strong finish to her high school career - on the track and in centerfield.
Townsen has already committed to the University of Florida for softball.
