Girls Discus

Emma Sralla (Marcus) - Senior

Sralla had the second best high school season ever by an American high school girl in the discus event. She became the US No. 2 all-time thrower with her 193-8 at the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays only behind a couple of throws from fellow Texan and Olympian Shelbi Vaughan's (Mansfield Legacy) - 2012. She won her second UIL 6A state title.

Madeleine Fey (Midlothian) - Junior

Fey won her third UIL 5A discus state title. She threw over 175 at regionals and at the state meet. Fey topped out with a 182-4 personal best and won the Great Southwest Classic.

Harlee Fonville (Angleton) - Junior

Fonville racked up a ton of wins this season; the three meets she didn't win were second place finishes including the UIL 5A state meet and the TTFCA Meet of Champions. She threw 148-8 win Region 3-5A.

Kennedy Thompson (Clear Brook) - Senior 

Thompson competed at high level invitationals all season long and was first or second in every meet except for Texas Relays and the UIL 6A state meet. She was third at state thanks to a 146-8 personal best toss.

Olamide Favour Ayeni (Denton Ryan) - Junior

Ayeni was pretty consistent most of the year even through the cold early season meets. She started things off in the high 130s and then really ramped things up when championship season rolled around. Sheh finished third at the Region 1-5A meet, but a 145-8 earned her the wild card qualifier and the then threw 147-11 for third place at state.

Taylor Wiseman (Childress) - Sophomore

With many of the state's top throwers graduating, Wiseman could be handed a place on the red carpet that leads to the throne. She was second at the UIL 3A state meet in the shot put (3rd at Great Southwest) and won the discus title (Second at Great Southwest). She came up big when it counted ... 150-1 at regionals 150-5 at state, and 141-0.25 at the Great Southwest.

Arrianna Allen (Mansfield Summit) - Senior

The Summit Jaguar needed a big throw to advance to state and she got it. Allen's 150-3 PR came at regionals and she eventually finished fourth at the UIL 6A state meet.

Chesni Scott (Cedar Park Vista Ridge) - Senior

Scott is a well rounded thrower; she proved that by finishing third at the UIL 6A state meet in the shot put. She has been a force in the discus throughout her career. She placed fourth at the state meet and had a 159-6 PR at the Coppell Relays.

Olivia Hildebrand (Whitesboro) - Junior

Hildebrand repeated as the UIL 3A runner-up in the discus at the state meet. She had threw a personal record 152-11 at her area meet and 145-11 at state.
