The girls 4x400 relay was one of the most exciting races of not only the meet, but one of the best races in the state all year long.
It was a four to five team race throughout most of it. In the end, Shadow Creek pulled away from everyone to get the win in an impressive 3:48.54.
The runner-up team The Woodlands, third place Pearland, and fourth place Humble Kingwood all ran 3:52 only being separated by .75. The fifth, sixth, and seventh place teams were also within one second of one another.
