The District championships are just around the corner and the treks for state championships are about to begin for all of the UIL classifications. We are all constantly wanting to know how things look in terms of who will win individual and team state titles.
Every weekend, the data gives us a little clearer picture on how things can potentially look. Nevertheless, it is all prognostication and we won't know until after all of the qualifying rounds are complete and regional results are in on April 29th.
In the meantime, we have listed the top nine performances for each UIL 6A event and assigned points using the UIL scoring system. This will tell you who the state champions will be. While this is nowhere near a clear crystal ball or anything like that, it is just a way to analyze how things look. In some events, there are more than two or three teams/individuals from the same regions and we know that isn't going to happen, however check things out and see how the UIL 6A boys championship picture is slowly unfolding right before our eyes.

Analysis After Field Events
Midlothian got big points in the field events. They look primed to take the point total lead into the track events.
Mansfield Timberview looks like they might get a head start on some of the other programs with loaded sprint heavy teams who could score a lot of relay points. With close to a double digit point lead, that could prove to be a heavy factor in the overall final team standings. Frisco Heritage is another team who could really good field event points to couple with a good track contribution in points.
