2025 UIL 3A Girls 4x200 relay
The 2025 UIL Girls 3A 4x200 relay was all about Texarkana Liberty-Eylau, who came in as the favorites and delivered on the big stage with a dominant performance. With Kaydence Stephens, Lanijah Welch, Jada Stovall, and Z'Ryen Banks carrying the baton, Liberty-Eylau powered to a 1:39.38 finish - the second-fastest time in 3A history. From the gun, they took control, navigating the big staggers cleanly through the first exchange zone and never surrendering their lead. Their speed and smooth handoffs left no doubt, as they separated from the field and cruised to a statement victory.
Holliday, running out of lane 5, put together a strong race behind Liberty-Eylau, finishing second in 1:40.90. Their quartet of Kai Stockton, Emma Ellis, Sammi Kirkland, and Breagan Blowers worked well through the exchanges to secure the silver. West claimed third in 1:41.25, just ahead of East Bernard (1:42.14) and Atlanta (1:42.27), while Shallowater got off to a fast start but settled for sixth in 1:43.61, narrowly edging out Yoakum by one-hundredth of a second. Unfortunately, Gladewater, one of the anticipated contenders, did not finish.
It was a commanding, wire-to-wire performance from Texarkana Liberty-Eylau, who cemented themselves as one of the fastest 4x200 squads in the classification's history.
