Bayleigh Minor, Texas' Most Decorated Female T&F Athlete

- - -

Upon completion of the 2025 TAPPS State Track & Field Championships, Bayleigh Minor of Fort Bend Christian Academy walked away from Midway's Panther Stadium as the most decorated female athlete in Texas Track & Field history: 16 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

She opened her career in 2022 with 5 golds and closed it with another 5; in between, she earned 4 in 2023 and 2 in 2024.

Ychlindria Spears of Luling held the record at 14, and the former University of Texas star will now get to see the latest high school phenom don the burnt orange, as Bayleigh chose the University of Texas over other powers Georgia, Florida, and her father's alma mater, Baylor.

For the high school track fan, we'll have time to reflect on Bayleigh's accomplishments while awaiting the next phenom.

**Universal City Randolph's Taylor Nunez also earned her 16th gold medal at the 2025 UIL State TF Championships. Bayleigh's 20 makes her the most decorated overall.
