Top Runners who is leaving due to graduation/realignment: This will be a tough region only losing 2 out of the top 10 from last year. Ashley Flores and Jessica Harper
Top Runners in the top 10 last year returning: A very strong group returning including defending champion Rachel Johnson. She will be challenged by a number of DFW area runners including Kim Kirby , Alyssa Nielson , Natlie Coday, Connor Ward , Sarah Roe , Katy Canavin, and Alex Vigil. *Midlothian moves up to 5A this year and with that will bring in 2 strong runners that will contend for a top 10 spot Carly Kitts and Riann Winget

Top Freshman Returners who might make a splash: The Freshman that really stood out last year are Courtney Kriegshauser, and Alex Vigil. Alex was the highest placing FR last year placing 10th at the Region I meet. Courtney placed right behind Alex and showed great promise on the track running a 5:10 1600m.
