FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – Ryan Holroyd led the McNeese Cowboys at the 26th Annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival here Saturday morning as the graduate student ran a 24:51.2 in the 10-kilometer race as the Cowboys finished ninth as a team in the 20-team field.
LAKE CHARLES – Former McNeese standout runner Jarret LeBlanc set the pace at Saturday's McNeese Cowboy Club ASICS Cowboy Stampede with a first place finish mark of 19:08.30 in the four-mile race, leading the way for his fellow Cowboy runners to take the team title in the men's division.
It's the second consecutive win for the Cowboys on the season. McNeese took the team title at the Rice Invitational two weeks ago.
