Houston, Texas - For the second consecutive season and the fourth time in the last five years, the University of Houston women\'s indoor track and field team captured the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field title with a come-from-behind victory Saturday in the Yeoman Field House on the UH campus.

Houston defended its team title with 141.5 points, to Rice\'s 126. UTEP finished third with 72. Wells was honored as the female performer of the meet after her double victory

Pablo Solares ran a stirring 4:01.9 mile anchor leg on the distance medley relay, a pair of Owls were 3-4 in the 5000, and Omar Wright cleared a season-best in the high jump as the Rice men scored 30 points to sit third in the standings after the first day of the Conference USA indoor track and field championships at Yeoman Fieldhouse Friday.
