The Highland Park girls are ranked 22nd coming into this XC season. They return all seven of their varsity athletes, including soon be senior Hope Mclaughlin. Hope is ranked 26th in the state of Texas in the XC 5K and is looking strong coming back this season. With the experience and chemistry these girls have from running together last year, you have to think that they will do some good things this year, possibly qualify for state.
