Analysis: Fish will be looking to qualify for the UIL 5A state cross country meet for the fourth straight year, and that is an incredible feat. Last season, Fish earned her best finish as she crossed the line in 7th place. She dropped a 5K PR of 18:07.11 and managed to run under 19 minutes the entire season. Fish comes in with the #13 rank in the entire state, but don't sleep on her ability. If she had a strong off season look for fish to combine that with the success she had last spring to catapult her up the rankings. At the UIL 5A state track meet, Fish dropped a 10:54.97 PR for the bronze medal in the 3200. She also had a 5:06.54 1600m PR and eventually took fourth at the state meet.
