Can Parker Clay set the TAPPS all time state meet record in the shot put?
Parker Clay of Shiner St. Paul set the TAPPS 2A state meet record last year but this year she aims for a much bigger record: the 16 year old TAPPS state shot put record of 45-03 set by Antonian's Abby Ruston in 2002!
Clay appears safe to walk away with a state championship as the 9th ranked shot put thrower in the nation won regionals by a staggering 11 feet but the TAPPS state record would definitely leave a lasting legacy for the soon to be Aggie.
