Tascosa Rebels, Randall Lady Raiders win large-school meet
The Tascosa boys cross country team is still undefeated after seven years against local and area competition - barely. And the Randall Lady Raiders, running two junior varsity runners on the varsity, are still undefeated this year. (via Amarillo Globe-News)

ULM Turns in Strong Showing at UTA Invitational, Men Finish Second
ARLINGTON, Texas – With three top-five finishes, the ULM cross country men’s team turned in a second-place finish out of nine at the UTA Invitational on Saturday, while the women placed sixth out of 13 at Lyon Creek Park.

Kingwood girls set for early test
The Kingwood girls harriers take their first big test Saturday at the Gerald Richey Invitational, Region II's preview meet. The Mustangs opened the season at the Cy Ridge Run the Ridge meet, then went to Montgomery's Moonlight Madness, where they finished third last week. The need for improvement early in the season isn't surprising considering they graduated four of the top five runners from last season: New to the team are senior Emily Potts, who is much improved in her third year in the program, freshman Brianna Nolen, who has a high ceiling, and junior Jennifer Poston, who didn't run last year.
