Congratulations to Corey Dauphine and Kiana Horton for winning the fan vote for the Texas Track Athletes of the Year! Both standout sprinters had big seasons to end their HS running careers, coming away with gold medals at State.
The boys competition came down to a battle with two of the state's top sprint & football recruits. Jay Bradford has a monster lead early on, but Corey Dauphine rallied his troops and scored enough votes to close the gap and then extended his lead on the final day.

The girls' voting was a bit more evenly split with a tight group of 4-5 brining in similar votes through the first few days. Kiana Horton would pull away at the end to finish 1st with 875.
