Viegra Gets 3rd Win In A Row, Belton Girls Dominate At Giddings Camp Tejas Invite
Boys Race
- Daniel Viegra got his third win of the year running 16:23 beating Huntsville's Connor Del Rio by only one second. Right on Del Rio's heals was Giddings senior Leo Michel who ran 16:24 to place third. I was an extremely close race for those top three spots. Pflugerville Henderickson pulled off the win in the team race scoring 50 points lead by Viegr's first place and Justin Botello's fourth place.
Girls Race
- The girls individual title was won by Belton junior Brooke Gilmore in 18:44. Unlike the guys race Gilmore had a dominate win beating her teammate Olivia Houlden who was second by over a minute. The duo lead the Lady Tigers to victory scoring 28 points. The next team was Pflugerville Henderickson who finished 2nd with 59 pints.
