Boys Race
- In the guys race David Strome won running 15:31, but only :15 off his time was Daniel Golden from The Woodlands. Golden lead The Woodlands guys to the team victory running 15:42, the team as a whole scored 25 points, and had a :25 sec 1-5 split. Just behind Golden was Amarillo Tascosa sophomore Wes Mcphail. Mcphail covered the course in 15:53 helping the Tascosa guys place 3rd with 140 points. Just ahead of them in 2nd were the guys from Plano West who scored 125 points.
Girls Race
- The individual race was dominated by Houston Lamar junior Julia Heymach who covered the course in 17:35. This was Heymach's first 5k after running 3 miles last weekend at the Texas A&M Invitational. In 2nd was Houston Memorial's Khayla Patel who ran 18:08, and rounding out the top 3 was Richland sophomore Binta Ka. In the team race it was the girls from The Woodlands who who took home the victory running a :30 1-5 split and average time of 19:18. The girls from Warren High School in California placed 2nd also scoring 53 points. Round out the top three was Katy Seven Lakes who scored 59 points.
