SFA Lumberjack Invitational
Stephen F Austin University facilitated it's cross country meet and it was a good turn out. Bronwyn Buchanan and Carolyn Hale led Hallsville with a 1-2 finish on the girls side as they ran 20:13 and 20:15. Ryan Schoppe opened up his first open race since his UIL 6A state 3200m win on the track. His time of 15:13.20 leads the state in the 5K distance as he outlasted the competition by over a minute.
In the team races, Conroe survived Hallsville's 1-2 finish as they won the girls race and Pasadena Rayburn won the boys race.
