Blazing fast out of the gate, Jayla Franklin from Newton never gave up her lead and won the gold with a time of 11.80. Jaysa Coney from Palestine Westwood won the silver with a time of 12.15 and Raeann Charro from Cotulla with 12.18 won the bronze.

3A Girls 200m

All qualifying times for this exciting race were within one second of each other. It was a clean start and Jayla Franklin of Newton was hot off the line and never relinquished her lead, winning with a time of 24.24. Jaysa Coney from Palestine Westwood finished second with a time of 25.22. Brandi Drake from Cameron Yoe captured the bronze with a time of 25.32.
