Abby Geiser's storied high school career includes Nolan's all-time leader in the 100
(11.59), 200 (24.36), and long jump (18-06.50), plus third in the triple jump (35-
11.50.) She's enjoyed success at Nike Outdoor Nationals, AAU Junior Olympics and
numerous other post-season meets, but nothing compares with contributing as a
freshman to Duke's ACC Co-Conference Indoor Championship.
While teammates from Texas (Emily Cole, Elizabeth Reneau and the Simmons twins)
helped Abby transition to life in North Carolina, she's now thriving on a growing
sense of confidence. This bodes well for a successful outdoor season and another
run atop the ACC podium.
