Girls 100H

Leah Anderson (Midlothian Heritage) had the fastest regional qualifying time and was clearly one of the favorites. So, all she had to do was start and finish to get the win, right?

Well, yes. However, she did get some good competition.

From the gun, Anderson seized the lead and with solid hurdle technique was able to carry it thought finish line, but it wasn't without Taylor McFarland (Godley), Kalani Lawson (Fort Worth Dunbar), and Sarah Runyon (Argyle) were on Anderson's inside trying to make things interesting for the finish.

Anderson got the win in 13.96 followed by McFarland in second in 14.31, and Lawson finishing third in 14.45.
