Boys 110H
Running with the wind, the 4A boys crossed the finish line in blazing times. Matthew Tyeskie of Kilgore was the first to cross with a time of 13.99. The junior got off to a good start off the blocks and immediately took control of the race.
With a slight lead, Tyeskie continued to stretch himself from the pack and extend his lead. Junior John Sanderson from Hamshire-Fannett held on to the second spot with a time of 14.28. Senior Tyler Moore of Bandera managed to claim the final podium spot with a time of 14.52, just ahead of Liberty-Eylau Jeavon Stewart's time of 14.66.

Boys 300H
After turning in the fastest time at regionals, Grant Williams carried his momentum into the state meet. The Celina senior turned in a fast time of 37.30 to crown himself as the state champion.
From the moment the gun went off, Williams took command of the race. The rest of the field was competing for second as Williams finished a second ahead of the runner-up.
Harrison Foster a senior from Sweetwater, took the second spot with a time of 38.30. After claiming the victory in the 110-meter hurdles, Matthew Tyeskie from Kilgore added to his medal total with a third place finish. The junior finished with a time of 38.43. The top seven finishers all crossed with a time of 40 seconds or below.
