Duncanville has been the lion in the jungle this season when it comes to the 4x100 relay. The expectations were there for them were high.
They got a good first leg that put them in the lead and then, Pierre Goree happened. Goree destroyed lane five on the back stretch to give the Panthers a huge advantage.
While all of this was going on, Shadow Creek, Klein Forest, Summer Creek, and Allen were doing their thing as well.
Allen got a huge second leg from Tsegaya Fazarro to put them on Duncanville's radar heading into the third leg.
Duncanville was still superior on the third leg giving them a good open track heading into the anchor with Allen and Summer Creek coming up in the second and third positions.
However, it was a bad third exchanges that affected the outcome as Duncanville was hampered as wasSummer Creek's point scoring opportunities.
After getting the baton, Duncanville picked up where they left off and powered home to the finish line in 39.98 for the win and Klein Forest's huge anchor leg from Jelani Watkins to pull in for second in 40.11 and Shadow Creek was third in 40.28
