Ashton Torns executes his drive phase in the 60m at the 2022 Texas Tech Under Armour Classic

The 2023 calendar season is here and soon the indoor track and field season will be as well.
There were already several indoor events that occurred in December 2022, but only one event in Texas that held the 60m event. Beginning next weekend, there will be several meets that will take place throughout the indoor season where Texas boys will compete in the short sprints.
There are only four boys who did not graduate last year who ran sub 7.00 in the 60m. Ashton Torns (Austin Westlake), who ran 6.85 is one of the athletes followed by Korey Mosley (Allen), Jelani Watkins (Klein Forest), and Justin Frater (North Crowley) is the fourth.
