Alyssa Banales is the No. 2 ranked long jumper in the country with her 20-8.5 performance at the North Texas Showcase back in December. Earlier this month, she won the Arkansas High School Invitational against a loaded field.
Although she doesn't compete for her high school, she still takes advantage of the few opportunities she gets. Banales qualified for the USA U20 Championship team that competed in Cali, Columbia last summer.
