Dana Rojas Vasquez is off to a fast start in South Texas. She has two consecutive sub 18-minute runs this season including her 17:42 on Friday at the McAllen Bulldog Inv.
The McAllen senior left little doubt on who was going to win this race, but it was about her defying the humidity and having nobody to pace off of. "I feel really good about it, I was expecting to run fast," Vasquez said.
