Austin LBJ Speeds To 41.04 Win In 4A Boys 4x100 Relay

The Austin LBJ relay team has posted the best times all season long and they accomplished their goal of winning the State title in 41.04.

The squad of Ali Scott, Treawn Young-Henderson, KJ Houston and Ladainian Green showed composure during the race as they moved the baton smoothly through the exchange zones. Heading into the final exchange Canyon Randall had closed the gap, but were unable to complete the exchange and Green took the opportunity to race away from the competition.

Lindale and Stafford took advantage of the opportunity that Canyon Randall gave them and were able to earn a podium finish. Lindale posted a time of 41.54 and Stafford followed in 41.56. The 16 points for Lindale could prove to be huge for the team title implications.
