2025 UIL 1A Boys 4x100 Relay
Strawn was the favorite heading into the 1A boys 4x100m and they ran well, but not well enough to medal. Lamesa Klondike and Jayton both got out to great starts behind Cannon McGee and Bode Ham, respectively.
Lamesa Klondike and Jayton remained in front until late in the race when Iredell closed hard. Gavin Vara brought Iredell into winning contention passing Jayton, but he ran out of room to catch Lamesa Klondike.
The Lamesa Klondike quartet of McGee, Jared Quintanilla, Slay Bowley and Luke Smith took the title in 43.39. Iredell finished in 43.53 to nab second place and Jayton held on for third place with a time of 43.62.
