2025 UIL 1A Boys 110-Meter Hurdles

Gordon got their State meet started with a bang as they swept the top two spots in the UIL 1A Boys 110mh.

Defending State champion Stryker Reed (Gordon) took down a 12-year old meet record. He blazed to a time of 14.05 to win easily and break the old record of 14.31. His teammate, Kaden Crowe (Gordon) followed Reed's lead and easily finished second with a time of 14.52. The duo was close through the first half of the race before Reed was able to pull away for the win.

The top three places were spread out evenly as Martin Baeza (O'Donnell) grabbed the bronze medal with a time of 15.09, nearly a half-second ahead of fourth place. Reed and Crowe are both juniors and will likely be back with a chance to take the top two spots again next year.
