2025 UIL 1A Boys 4x200 Relay
Gordon defended their UIL 1A Boys 4x200m title from a year ago with a near carbon-copy victory in 1:29.63.
Gordon entered the meet with expectations of a team title and they have not set a foot wrong on the track midway through the meet. Fresh off winning the 100m dash, Ry Reed (Gordon) got his team started in a big way. They took the early lead then Kaden Crowe and Aiden Shank held serve through the next two exchanges. Brayden Walters closed it out in impressive style by pulling away from the rest of the leaders.
Jayton pulled out the silver medal coming from behind on the final leg to run 1:30.39. The anchor leg was Sean Stanaland who earlier won the 800m and pushed them in front of Richland Springs at the line. Richland Springs held on for third place with a time of 1:30.44.
