Triple Jump (2015-2016 National Leader Boards)

This is a small field compared to the rest of the events but one big name is a standout, and that's Tara Davis from Agoura High School (CA). Davis was the runner-up at last year's World Youth Championships with a jump of 42-8.25. Her indoor PR is 40-2. A potential dark horse is Jasmine Moore who holds the National Record in the TJ in the USATF 13-14 age group, this will be her first high school level meet, being only a freshman.

Davis is again the favorite in the long jump being the World Youth Champion with her jump of 21-0.25. She also finished 3rd in the state of California at last year's state meet. Ivone Walker will be someone who could be a big impact in the long jump. The Mansfield Summit senior was third in the state in 2014. Jernaya Sharp is another name to watch. Sharp was the USATF National JO Outdoor Track and Field Championship runner-up this past summer with her jump of 19-0.75.
